How Can You Make $50 or more per click with Adsense?

I have read online that certain Adsense ads can pay the publisher $20 or $50 or even $100 per CLICK. I don't doubt this. My question is, beside researching and choosing high paying keywords and then writing great content around those keywords in order to attract the relevant ads, are there any other factors that come into play in order to acquire $20 or $50 or even $100 per click?

Does the Adsense ad itself have to have the exact high value keyword or search phrase in the ad in order to get the high value click? Does the webpage's rank position on Google determine the value of the CPC when someone clicks on the ad?

In other words, if one Adsense publisher has a webpage about car insurance that ranks on page 1 of Google for the search term "best car insurance rates" and another Adsense publisher has a webpage with very similar high quality content that ranks on page 10 of Google for the search term "best car insurance rates", will the Adsense publisher with the better ranking page get higher CPC ads and therefore, make more money per click?

I'm more familiar with Adwords, not so much Adsense, but what I do know is that $50 or more per click sounds extremely high if you're talking about USD.

Chances are, you can try niches such as debt consolidation, credit cards e.t.c. to get such high dollar value per click. But as for >$50, it's highly unlikely.

A Secret To Earning $50 per Click from Google AdSense

There are two kinds of professionals in the world — the ones who just work hard, and the others who work hard and work smart. The greatest level of success comes to the people who find a balance between hard work and smart work. This is certainly true in the world of Internet marketing.
As a blogger, you must be working day and night to produce great content, drive traffic and make money from ads.  But it is easy to overlook some of the simplest methods of increasing traffic and thus AdSense earnings by a significant amount.
So – in today’s post I am sharing one of the simplest ways to improve traffic and increase your income!

Benefits of using long tail and high CPC AdSense Keywords:

Surely you are aware of the fact that the most targeted traffic your blog has, the more money you will make. Similarly, the more high-CPC keywords you are using, the more your AdSense earnings will increase over time.
I have written about long tail keywords in the past and explained how these keywords help you to rank higher with search engines.  I have also explained how long tail keywords are easy to rank for and help you to get highly targeted organic traffic.
Now suppose we could find a way to identify the perfect combination of long tail keywords that are also CPC AdSense keywords?  Sounds like a money-making combination, does it not?  Read on!
First, check out an awesome tool called Hittail, which analyzes your current blog traffic, and suggests long tail keywords to improve relevancy.
Next, have a look at another great tool called SEMRUSH, which I am about to introduce to you.  SEMRUSH will assist you in identifying long tail, high CPC keywords literally within seconds!

Using SEMRUSH to find profitable AdSense Keywords:

SEMRUSH is one amazing tool and is a unique tool in terms of the amazing features it offers. I won’t go into a detailed explanation of this tool here because you can refer to my review article to learn all you need to know about using SEMRUSH. What I want do today is show you how you can use this tool to find profitable AdSense keywords.
To get all you can from this excellent tool, I suggest you first compile the following tools:
  • Google Docs spreadsheet or any other tool you’re using to manage keywords.
  • SEMRUSH account. (Get complete 14-day free trial using this link)
  • List of high and medium authority blogs in your niche.
Login to your SEMRUSH account, and type the name of the domain that you want to use for finding long tail high CPC keywords.
Organic high CPC Keywords
On the next page, click on organic keywords > Full list, and you will be shown a list of keywords that are driving traffic to the Warrior Forum.
Now, you simply need to sort the list by clicking on the CPC tab, and it will sort the list in order of high CPC keywords first.
Interesting to note is the fact that the majority of high CPC AdSense keywords are usually long tail keywords. Indeed, some of them are as high as $70+ per click!
Long Tail high CPC AdSense Keywords
Now begin copying the keywords which you think are most suitable to your blog. (I usually note most of the keywords on my content-planning Google document, and I use these notes later for structuring content on ShoutMeLoud or any other blog.)
Continue to repeat the process for the other domains on the list, and by the time you have completed this exercise you will have an extensive list of high-CPC AdSense keywords.
Since you are already targeting niche-based long tail keywords, you are most likely to rank higher, and drive traffic on those keywords. This is one of the simplest and fastest ways to skyrocket your AdSense earnings.
Keep in mind that you need to make sure your keywords are driving traffic from countries like the United States. Otherwise you are not maximizing your potential from this tip.
SEMRUSH is one of the best search engine marketing tools available, and I highly recommend that you take it for a test-drive at the very least. You can use the link below toget completely free access to SEMRUSH for 14 days, which usually costs $150. Difference between AdSense and AdWords

What is the difference between AdSense and AdWords? Both AdSense and AdWords relate to Google. AdSense and AdWords are tools or platforms provided by Google to execute marketing strategies and campaigns or to profit from them. The difference between AdSense and AdWords is in who uses those tools.

What is the difference between AdSense and AdWords

So, really, what is the difference between AdSense and AdWords? The biggest difference between AdSense and AdWords is in who uses the system, who the primary audience is.
AdWords: The Google AdWords program enables you (an advertiser) to create advertisements. Advertisements that you create through AdWords appear on relevant Google search results pages and also on sites that participate in the Google AdSense network. Google AdWords is Google's proprietary advertising platform that generates for example those text-only ads on the right hand side of Google Search results as highlighted in the print screen
Google AdWords is a pay-per-click advertising program where you bid on keywords and write ads. These ads then appear on Google when people type in those keywords and do searches. When someone clicks on your ad, you pay Google however much you bid on the keyword.
AdSense: The Google AdSense program enables owners of web sites (aka publishers) to display AdWords ads on their web sites. AdSense is a program that lets Google put AdWords ads directly on your web site. In other words, AdSense is Google's syndication program for its AdWords ads. Any AdWords ads that are displayed at (we say "syndicated out") at third party web sites do so via Google's AdSense program. That means that the ads seen via the AdSense program are AdWords ads posted on third party sites. The Google AdSense program delivers Google AdWords ads to individuals’ web sites, and Google then pays web publishers for the ads displayed on their sites based on user clicks on ads or on ad impressions. When someone clicks on the ad on your site, you make money (seeMake money with AdSense).
Difference between AdSense and AdWords summary:
AdWords are the ads. AdWords is an advertising program to create more exposure for your site.
Users of the Google AdWords program are called advertisers.
You pay to Google.
AdWords bring your site instant traffic.
AdSense is the syndication program.
AdSense is a monetization technique that you can use to help your site generate some extra money.
Users of the AdSense program are called publishers.
Google pays to you.

Difference between AdSense and AdWords prices

The difference between AdSense and AdWords prices is Google's profit. For example, if you log into the AdWords interface, you will see that you have to pay certain amount for each click that is executed on your ad campaign, let's say it can be $2.00. You have to pay $2.00 to Joe Smith that runs the web site where someone clicked your ad.
What is the difference between AdSense and AdWords
Then, if you also have a website and run AdSense on it, you can see that you get for example $0.05 for a click on a banner on your site. You get $0.05 from someone that advertises his business on your web site when a visitor of your web site clicks the ad.
$2.00 what you pay in AdWords versus $0.05 what you get from AdSense. Pretty nice profit margin, isn't it? What you get and what you pay greatly varies. The difference can be 10 cents as well as 5 dollars, and there is a number of factors that affect it.

Difference between AdSense income and AdWords price

You may be getting 5 cents for AdSense clicks and paying 10 cents for AdWords clicks. Or, you may also be getting 50 cents for the same AdSense keyword and paying 5 dollars for the same keyword in AdWords. Why?
AdSense income: Your AdSense income depends on factors such as:
  • Where the user is geographically located (user in NY is worth more than an user from Siberia),
  • what page the user comes from,
  • and how long the visitor stays on a site.
There are probably many other factors in play, but these are the most important ones.
AdWords price: If you have a keyword in AdWords that is very expensive (let's say $30), it can mean one important thing. It is very unpopular. Such word must be set somewhere within the Google system as being a CTR-killer. That means that if that keyword is in a particular AdWords ad group in conjunction with certain other keywords or in conjunction with the particular wording of the ad text, historical data shows that that campaign fails miserably and gets no clicks. That is why you have to pay more in AdWords as an advertiser.
And again, the price of Google AdWords is affected by geographic factors. If you are looking for cheap AdWords (let's say 5 cents a peace), you could try to put target AdWords in less competing countries in your industry. Some experts say that geographically Japan, US, and Canada host the most expensive AdWords.

Can I use AdSense income for AdWords campaigns?

This is another difference between AdSense and AdWords. Google AdSense and Google AdWords are two completely separated departments, so you cannot transfer your AdSense income to your Google AdWords account as of now. Your only option is to send your AdSense income to your bank account and then transfer it from your bank account to your AdWords account to pay for your AdWords campaigns.

How to make enough money from AdSense to cover AdWords costs?

In other words, is it possible to drive traffic to your site through Google AdWords and then make more money on that traffic from Google AdSense to cover your AdWords costs and yet have some extra? Yes and no. Setting up a scheme like this requires a lot of expertise, depends on many factors, and only experimenting with various strategies in this area can answer the question.
The difference between AdSense and AdWords prices is what makes this impossible in general. However, there are some tricks to this. In general, if we talk about a keyword or key phrase (for example "web hosting"), you would pay much more for visitor's clicks on your AdWords ads than you would receive from when someone clicks the same ad on your site.
What you can do is to drive traffic to your site through low-cost keywords in AdWords (for example "president") and then monetize the traffic through displaying more profitable keywords or phrases and AdSense ads (for example "Mesothelioma").
Example: Set up a Google AdWords campaign with the word "president" or something relevant to your site but cheap (you have to choose keywords relative to your website to drive traffic in). You might be paying some 50 cents for clicks that bring visitors to your site. Have your site about some presidents having the Mesothelioma decease with ads targeted at "Mesothelioma". You might be getting some 1-2 dollars for your visitors' clicks on the ads on your site. Voila, you are making money.

Difference between AdSense and AdWords traffic

Even if you can't cover your AdWords costs with your AdSense revenue, there still may be some benefits to driving traffic to your web site through AdWords which is a hidden difference between AdSense and AdWords observed by webmasters experimenting in this area.
  • Visitors who clicked on an AdWords ad to come to your web site are far more likely to click on an AdSense ad to leave your site. (Some statistics say about 30% of traffic coming in through AdWords is likely to click an AdSense ad.)
  • Even if traffic from AdWords does not generate profit it helps to boost your CTR possibly helping your click value over time.
The traffic of your website gets affected by your AdWords campaigns, and the effects greatly depend on many factors.

Difference between AdSense and AdWords in how they work

There is a difference between AdSense and AdWords in how they technically work too.
AdWords: You create a Google AdWords account and link it to your credit card. Your account will be ready once your credit card is approved. Then you set up your advertisement and determine the maximum amount you are willing to pay per click on your ad. Every time someone clicks on your ad, Google bills your account. When your bill reaches a certain amount, Google charges your credit card.
AdSense: Google AdSense is the opposite. You set up an account and generate a small JavaScript code that you insert into your web site pages code. Google ads then display in place of this code. Every time your visitor clicks an ad on your web site, you get a small fee from Google. Once your account reaches a certain balance, Google AdSense will send you a check or direct deposit to your bank account.

Most Expensive Google AdWords Keywords

With over 97 percent of Google’s $33.3 billion in revenue over the past year coming from online advertising, the search engine giant has been wildly successful in selling pay-per-click advertising on the Internet, making over $54 per click for top-ranked keywords.
The 20 Most Expensive Keywords in Google Adwords
As illustrated in this infographic from Wordstream (click to enlarge), the 20 most expensive categories of keywords in Google AdWords range from “insurance” (No. 1) to “cord blood” (No. 20).
The question for domain name investors and entrepreneurs is: Are you focusing your investment and development efforts in the most lucrative areas?
As evidenced in the DomainSherpa interview with Christian Walter, domain names play a significant role in ranking well in searches for specific keyword phrases. Domain name investors and entrepreneurs should buy domain names focused on areas making $20, $30 or $54 per click.

High Lifetime Customer Value

Among the 20 most expensive keyword categories identified in the Wordstream study, the common factor is the lifetime value of a customer in each industry.
For example, the lifetime value of a legal client – who over the years may require legal advice in estate planning, intellectual property and litigation – can be quite high. As such, legal firms can afford to put significant resources into recruiting new customers, which translates into higher costs per click (CPCs) for related search terms. “Attorney,” “lawyer” and “claim” ranked at No. 4, No. 6 and No. 10, respectively.

Tie Customer Value to Your Passion

Starting a business doing something you enjoy and believe in – not just for the sake of earning money – will provide the greatest opportunity for satisfaction and probably some measure of financial success. When you enjoy doing something, it does not feel like “work,” and you will find yourself spending much more time on it.
To supercharge your financial results, try connecting your passion with an area of high lifetime customer value. This will allow you to do something you enjoy and earn more per customer acquisition.
For example, let’s say you love bobblehead toys and can make $0.50 per toy in profit. You may enjoy modest financial success but will have a hard time scaling your business into a multi-million dollar enterprise unless you create partnerships, have the capital to invest in marketing, or luck into media coverage.
Alternatively, let’s say you are a strong proponent in banking cord blood because your brother was saved by a stem cell-related medical procedure. Starting a website that reviews and compares cord blood banks could be a way to combine your passion with a revenue generating source.

Target Keyword Phrases in Domain Names

Once you have identified both an area that you are passionate about and a keyword category with a high lifetime customer value, the next step is to focus on your keyword and keyword phrases.
Domain name investors and entrepreneurs should target specific domain names composed of three to five words, making sure highly relevant phrases are used within the domain name. In our cord blood example, a good domain name might be “cordbloodbanksinseattle.com.” (Although single keywords or phrases composed of two keywords are desirable, it is unlikely that they are available to be hand registered.)
To help you find worthwhile domain names composed of three to five words, visit the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. Following the procedure at How To Determine Monthly Domain Name Search Volume will allow you to type in a keyword category from the infographic above and find real keyword phrases that people are searching.
Your best bet is to find keyword phrases that have over 1,000 local monthly exact-match searches with a CPC of greater than $1. If you can find 1,000 exact-match searches on a phrase that has a cost per click of $50, all the better. Once you have found a desirable phrase, determine if the domain name is registered in the .com TLD and, if available, purchase it at your preferred domain name registrar.

Optimize Website Landing Pages

If you are driving potential customers to your website, you must be sure to have created a landing page that “converts” – that is, it generates a lead by having a visitor fill out a form, causes a visitor to click on an advertisement, and so on. While the average AdWords conversion rate across all categories is approximately 2 percent, conversion rates from clicks on landing pages often range from 20 to 30 percent.
When targeting the most expensive keyword categories in Google AdWords, you will find that competition for your selected keywords is fierce. Optimization of your landing page therefore becomes critical to realize the highest return on investment. In order to convert visitors, you will need to offer a product or service well aligned with your domain name and keyword search phrase.

Turn Leads into Revenue

Perhaps running a business that provides a product or service directly to consumers is not your cup of tea. In that case, you may instead want to take your leads and sell them to someone else who can use them – a business that already has a product or service to offer the leads, or an intermediary lead-generation company that will buy your leads at wholesale value and resell them at retail.
In the DomainSherpa interview with founder and CEO of Legal Brand Marketing, Braden Pollock acknowledged that he not only generates leads through his own network of DUI-attorney websites, but also buys leads from other sources as a supplement for his attorney customers.
There are number of companies that will purchase leads from suppliers, including Leads.com, LeadPoint.com, Reply.com, ProLeadX.com and LeadPile.com. By reading the blogs and marketing newsletters of lead-generation marketplaces like those, you can often glean additional information about the value of leads, niches of high value and tips for improving conversion rates.

Top 50 High Paying Keywords for Google AdSense 2015

Here I am providing another method to increase adsense earnings with high paying keywords. You can place only the adsense ad code to your site. Google will place ads of their choice. No ads will appear longer than 10 minutes. Google adsense scans the webpage and places the ad according to the keywords (it’s my thinking).
Here is a fact that google adword campaigns have to pay according to the competition in keywords. When a keyword gets the high competition then the keyword becomes high paying keywords.
I think that you have understood the formula now. Main thing is this that if you will write content with high paying keywords then the ads placed on your site will be high paying.
Now the question is how to find highly competition keywords. You can find high paying keywords with the help of google adword’s kerword suggester tool.
